Water Resources Project Delivery

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, a dynamic and growing firm specializing in engineering and construction management, is seeking a Project Delivery Leader to lead water resources initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to influence impactful projects while supporting both existing and new client relationships in a collaborative environment.

 


Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

 


•    Overseeing mid to large-scale transportation projects focused on water resources and drainage management.
•    Supporting business development through proposal writing, bidding processes, and leveraging existing projects and customer relationships.
•    Designing and analyzing storm drainage systems and Stormwater Control Measures.
•    Developing sediment and erosion control strategies, including Best Management Practices.
•    Preparing environmental permit drawings to ensure compliance with regulations.
•    Traveling to project sites as needed while managing remote work flexibility.

 


Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

 


•    Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
•    At least 10 years of experience in water resources design.
•    Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
•    Strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulics.
•    Experience collaborating with other engineering teams to find practical solutions.
•    Proficient in CAD and water resources modeling software like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM.
•    Familiarity with stormwater and drainage projects in the public sector.
•    Preferred experience managing stormwater and drainage projects for cities and states.
•    Background in engineering design and production management is a plus.
•    Knowledge of alternative project delivery methods and experience working in multiple states is preferred.
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
