• Build and manage a high-performing Engineering, Construction, and O&M team to support our growth objectives
• Lead the construction agenda for all solar projects with an emphasis on budgets, schedules, and bidding strategies
• Execute EPC contracts and meet annual COD targets
• Establish, implement, and enhance EPC procedures for 5-100 MW solar and solar + storage facilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related vendors, including subcontractors
• Negotiate EPC warranty contracts that meet each plant's long-term financial objectives
• Ensure optimal efficiency and maximum generation availability of the company's current and future solar plants
• Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of our solar plants
• Establish, implement, and enhance key processes to promote transparency with operational decisions and activities
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably engineering, with additional education in finance or accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy EPC and O&M, working with IPPs/Developers/Owners.
• Experience in all EPC phases of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including engineering design, construction, feasibility studies, factory acceptance tests, startup, and client turnover.
• Should be well-versed in high-level technical project management initiatives, such as contractor evaluation and selection, financials, schedules, estimates, contracts, constructability reviews, project phasing, and earned value KPIs.
• A solid understanding of commercial aspects of the EPC process and warranty management tactics.
• Expertise in contract negotiations, P&L management, and utility-scale renewable energy project risk assessments.
• Must have an EPC background in large commercial utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar, energy storage, and battery storage projects.
• A high level of proficiency in contractor management to ensure the execution of projects is implemented within budget and on time.
• Should possess a strong understanding of project finance, legal contracts, accounting, and proven experience in contract negotiations.
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
