Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):

 


•    Provide guidance to clients on tax implications, emphasizing real estate transactions.
•    Perform tax research and analysis concerning federal and state tax laws.
•    Aid in the structuring of transactions to achieve optimal tax efficiency.
•    Work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
•    Draft and review various tax-related documents and agreements.
•    Stay abreast of changes in tax laws, particularly those pertaining to real estate taxation.
•    Establish and uphold robust client relationships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.

 


Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role: 

 


•    Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; an LLM in Taxation is advantageous.
•    California State Bar admission.
•    Demonstrated 2-5 years of experience in transactional tax law, specifically emphasizing real estate taxation.
•    Profound understanding of both federal and California state tax laws.
•    Outstanding research, analytical, and communication skills.
•    Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
