Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

•    Lead structural analysis, design, and cost estimates for bridge projects, collaborating with diverse teams.
•    Manage project planning to ensure high quality and timely completion.
•    Mentor team members in technical skills and career development.
•    Oversee structural condition assessments and load ratings.
•    Prepare and review construction documents, including drawings and cost estimates.
•    Conduct bridge inspections and field investigations, creating detailed reports.
•    Develop technical reports, fee proposals, and marketing materials.
•    Build client relationships, lead project meetings, and address inquiries.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

•    Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred).
•    Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months.
•    5+ years of experience in bridge design, covering concrete and steel structures, bridge planning, load ratings, and construction support.
•    Knowledge of state DOT and municipal design standards.
•    Proficiency with bridge design software like LEAP Bridge Enterprise, LARSA 4D, and Bentley MicroStation.
•    Comfortable with heights and performing on-site inspections.
•    Valid driver’s license and flexibility for travel.
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
