This company is seeking a highly driven and closing-oriented Senior Director who will be in charge of managing project finance teams and deals for large-scale solar facilities, including raising tax equity and construction/term debt as well as assisting in project development and M&A activities. The position will collaborate closely with the utility-scale solar project development, origination, construction, legal, and engineering teams to guarantee successful financings and will also be in charge of managing Managers and Senior Analysts while keeping a laser-like focus on successfully closing utility-scale project finance debt and tax equity financings.

• Organize and lead discussions with finance counterparties for large-scale solar assets, including tax equity, construction loan, term debt, and other financial instruments.
• Oversee teams responsible for all phases of transaction execution, including investor due diligence, project marketing, financing terms negotiation, structuring, financial modeling, and transaction closing.
• Take the lead in project acquisition negotiations, due diligence, valuation, and financing.
• Offer advice on financial structuring and investor interest in new offtake structures to the company's Power Marketing and Project Development teams.
• Create a presentation for the company's investment committee and other senior executives to discuss project acquisition potential and other business objectives.
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant professional expertise in the financing of renewable energy projects, including the actual completion of numerous project debt and tax equity financings.
• a thorough understanding of the tax equity and debt frameworks for renewable energy.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing project finance and M&A transactions from start to finish.
• Proven track record of organizing teams internally and dealing with external stakeholders.
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
