You will be reporting into the Accounting Manager and have the essential job functions that include:

• Perform month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, analyses and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Point of contact for outsourced revenue accounting and ensure revenue is recognized timely and accurately
• Consistent adhere to company policies
• Review staff accountant/accounting specialist workflow as needed
• Oversee the maintenance of multiple general ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for monthly close responsibilities
• Assist the Accounting Manager with interim and year-end audit and tax reporting
• Participate in system and reporting enhancements and upgrades and coordinate with IT

This Senior Accountant will require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting required
• Five plus years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Two years’ experience in a senior consolidation/intercompany transactional role
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and solid technical GL and financial reporting experience
• Intermediate/advanced level experience in Excel and accounting systems
• Knowledge and experience in the real estate or renewable energy industry is a plus
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills in all work scenarios
