Renewables Project Manager

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):

 


•    Develop and manage project budgets, including monthly projected final cost and labor cost reports.
•    Procure subcontractors and manage their completion of construction based on pre-determined requirements.
•    Manage subcontractor relationships, including reviewing initial scope and proposals and developing final proposals based on agreed scope of work.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders such as developers, municipal entities, equipment suppliers, and construction suppliers to establish project timelines and milestones.
•    Collaborate with the pre-construction team to prepare, review, and monitor all costs involved in developing the project budget.
•    Understand the owner's contract requirements, including development of contract requirements, bond fees, schedules, and costs.
•    Conduct, document, and report daily site safety meetings to analyze job hazards.
•    Coordinate and ensure all subcontractors and suppliers meet schedules.
•    Provide all necessary close-out documentation to the customer at project completion.
•    Manage project administration and daily operations, including maintaining the project schedule, milestone dates, commissioning, and close-out checklists.

 


Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role: 

 


•    A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a construction-related field from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or related experience in the electrical contractor or comparable industry.
•    Project management experience in the renewable energy industry.
•    Capability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
•    Aptitude to independently estimate change orders and work with project schedules.
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
•    Proficiency in or ability to quickly learn software/computer programs and equipment (such as Microsoft Office Suite).
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
