A rapidly expanding North American solar company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the construction of multiple solar projects. As the Project Manager, you will manage general contractor activities, ensure project progress and quality, and report to the head office.

• Oversee multiple construction projects and coordinate with contractors while reporting progress to superiors.
• Proactively address issues related to progress and quality of work, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Monitor project performance, providing updates on safety, cost forecast, and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project management reporting and construction schedules.
• Collaborate with the construction department to manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risks.
• Cultivate positive relationships with all stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, utilities, and landowners.
• Travel to project sites throughout New York state as required (approximately 25% of the time).
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, ideally in solar energy generation stations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members.
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
