The client is a leading utility scale developer with a portfolio of operating projects across 10 states and more projects in the development pipeline. The organization is led by renewables veterans with a trajectory of running successful renewables organizations.

They're looking for a Project Finance Analyst/Associate to report to the Head of Project Finance.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):

• Support execution of third party capital in the form of construction debt, term debt, tax equity, and/or other specialty finance products
• Maintain ongoing relationships with financing partners and other key project stakeholders
• Run the due diligence process for potential investments and financing transactions
• Design and build standardized modeling procedures coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct financing assumptions are included in the project models
• Assess economic feasibility of project acquisitions and M&A opportunities through financial modelling
• Help with the preparation of quarterly board and investor presentations

Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role: 

• Previous investment banking experience working on project finance transactions highly preferred
• 1 to 4 years of experience working on renewables project finance transactions at a developer
• Bachelor's degree required (Math/Econ/Finance/Engineering or related studies preferred)
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interface with various levels and teams in the organization as well as external parties
