This role is ideal for an accomplished professional ready to lead environmental compliance and permitting projects for solar and renewable energy developments.

About the Role:

As the Principal Environmental Project Manager, you will oversee critical projects focused on the development of utility-scale solar farms and other renewable energy projects. This is a strategic leadership position, combining technical expertise, team management, and business development in the dynamic renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage large-scale renewable energy projects, including site assessments, permitting, and regulatory compliance.

· Oversee the preparation of Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), ensuring alignment with NEPA and local environmental regulations.

· Lead a team of 8 multidisciplinary professionals, driving collaboration and ensuring project success.

· Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the firm’s renewable energy portfolio.

· Build strong relationships with clients, developers, and regulatory agencies to deliver seamless project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· 20+ years of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on solar and renewable energy projects.

· Expertise in regulatory compliance, permitting, and NEPA processes, with a strong understanding of renewable energy development requirements.

· A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· A proven track record in business development, winning projects in the renewable energy sector.

· Exceptional leadership experience, managing teams of 8 or more to deliver high-quality results.
