• Spearhead the origination process for power purchase agreements, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of PPA valuation.
• Manage the end-to-end PPA acquisition process, from origination and due diligence to negotiation and final execution.
• Analyze PPA documentation to facilitate negotiations with potential customers/partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
• Develop tailored proposals and marketing materials using PowerPoint and MS Word to showcase offtake opportunities to prospective clients.
• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate customer needs and requirements into viable, profitable solutions.
• Stay abreast of market developments and trends to inform decision-making.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.
• Provide support for commercial due diligence on potential M&A opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
• At least 3 years’ experience in U.S. renewable power origination.
• Self-motivated individual with a robust commercial background and a deep understanding of U.S. electricity markets and PPA valuation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
