Our client, a leading environmental consulting firm with a strong presence across the U.S. and internationally, is looking for a senior leader to head its environmental remediation practice. The role involves driving growth in key sectors, providing innovative solutions, and managing high-impact projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead groundbreaking remediation work and collaborate with top professionals in the industry.

 


Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

 


•    Lead and expand a national environmental remediation practice, focusing on advanced techniques
•    Build and manage client relationships and oversee project delivery
•    Provide technical guidance on complex environmental treatment strategies
•    Mentor and lead a team of engineers and scientists on various projects
•    Coordinate project designs and ensure successful execution of remediation efforts
•    Supervise fieldwork and laboratory analysis for project assessments

 


Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role: 

 


•    Bachelor’s degree in environmental or chemical engineering
•    More than 15 years of experience in site remediation, preferably with emerging contaminants
•    Professional certifications such as P.E., P.G., or equivalent
•    In-depth knowledge of advanced remediation techniques and critical thinking abilities
•    Experience with projects in industrial and aviation sectors preferred
•    Proven experience in managing remedial designs and implementation operations
•    Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and develop a business pipeline
•    Experience at a consulting or contracting firm
•    Excellent report writing skills
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects
•    Reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits, along with a valid driver’s license
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
