•    Working with management to develop a robust engineering QA/QC program to assure engineering excellence.
•    Mentoring and leading transmission engineering team members in their development and career progression.
•    Collaborating with management and Principal Engineers to develop and maintain overall engineering training and development programs.
•    Assisting in the annual review of transmission engineering team members.

Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role:

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
•    4 to 8 years of experience in the transmission line engineering field.
•    P.E. license or ability to get one.
•    Experience in modeling and reviewing full transmission line designs in PLS-CADD software suite (PLS-CADD, POLE & TOWER)
•    Knowledge in the design and review of concrete foundation designs (typically drilled piers) using hand calculations and design software such as LPILE, FAD Tools and PLS Caisson.
•    Ability to interpret and apply industry codes and standards such as NESC, ACI, ASEC, AISC etc.
•    Proven ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders (internally and externally).
•    The mindset to thrive in a remote work environment that leverages telecommunications daily and travel periodically.
•    Ability to travel 20-30% of your time.
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.

As a successful candidate, you'll have a genuine growth mindset and a passion for working in a collaborative setting to implement internal processes and foster client relationships. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact, we encourage you to apply. This is not your regular 9-5 position - it's a chance to build something great and make your mark on the industry.
