Their mission is to develop solar projects that benefit landowners, communities, and energy customers while incentivizing the participation of low-to-moderate-income households. They're seeking a talented Director/Senior Director of Commercial Power Origination and Structuring to lead its origination, pricing, and structuring of financial and physical PPAs or off-take agreements. As a key member of their team, you will work closely with their Origination, Development, and Financing teams to develop exciting projects and M&A opportunities in their desired markets.

• Successfully negotiate and deliver off-take agreements from solar PV projects, meeting revenue, margin goals, and target volume.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to negotiate power contracts, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the organization.
• Develop innovative deal structures and recommendations that support financing negotiations, differentiate product offerings, and reduce collateral requirements.
• Continuously monitor traditional PPA markets in NYISO, ISO-NE, and PJM, proactively identifying opportunities for market-based hedge arrangements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key players in the industry, including origination, trading, or procurement desks within utility companies, municipalities, cooperatives, power marketers, investment banks, and C&I off-takers.
• Work closely with the Power Marketer to drive and execute deliverables and timetables, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
• Identify RFP opportunities and actively pursue PPA targets outside of traditional RFP processes.
• An advanced post-graduate degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in management and power origination roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in PPA transactions.
• Demonstrate strong skills in identifying and executing transactions and commercial deals.
• Advanced knowledge of North American utility-scale solar markets, power markets, and customer segments is required, including experience with CCAs, IPPs, IOUs, Commercial & Industrial companies, Cooperatives, Municipalities, and Government Agencies.
• Up-to-date knowledge of NYISO, ISO-NE, and PJM markets.
• Familiarity with renewable energy storage, over-the-counter forward markets, power markets, futures markets, and physical markets is preferred.
• The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships across multiple levels of an organization is essential.
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
