Our client, a prominent global consultancy specializing in engineering and project management, seeks a Project Director to drive water infrastructure projects in Florida. This role offers the opportunity to shape critical projects, working alongside a team that values sustainable practices and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

•    Manage water infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet client goals, budgets, and deadlines.
•    Provide quality control and expert reviews of design and engineering work.
•    Help grow the business through strategic development and proposal writing.
•    Act as the main point of contact for clients, leading project meetings and maintaining communication.
•    Create project plans, including scopes, schedules, and budgets.
•    Mentor project teams to encourage collaboration.
•    Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering; advanced coursework is a plus.
•    Florida PE license, or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.
•    At least 10 years of relevant experience in water infrastructure or similar fields.
•    Strong project management skills in budget control, scheduling, and delivery.
•    Familiarity with local water authorities and regulatory agencies in the Tampa area.
•    Experience in client relations and business development.
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
