Your responsibilities as Director of Finance will include (not limited to);

 

  • Lead the Company’s financial modeling across their corporate finance and project finance activities
  • Participate in financing transactions throughout the deal lifecycle including financial modeling, due diligence, investor marketing, and definitive documentation
  • Support the Project Financing efforts, as well as ongoing compliance and management
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze financial data (e.g., trend and forecast analysis, actual vs. plan performance, etc.), and create financial models for operational and transactional decision support and enhancements
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures

 

Requirements for the role

 

  • 5-7 years in project finance, corporate finance and/or mergers and acquisitions
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical or business-related field including, but not limited to, economics, math, finance, statistics, or engineering required
  • Graduate degree in finance, economics, business administration or related field preferred
  • Energy industry experience required (solar or clean energy preferred)
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques including corporate finance models
  • Tax equity and project finance modeling experience preferred
  • Financing transaction experience including equity, debt, and/or tax equity deals
  • Strong financial, planning and analysis skills
  • Outstanding fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Self–starter, able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Ability to self-organize priorities, set and work to deadlines, often with limited direct oversight
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, organized approach to workflow processes
