Join our client, a leading firm in the construction sector, known for its focus on large-scale infrastructure projects across the US. This dynamic organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional engineering and construction services, bringing innovative solutions to complex challenges. We are currently seeking a skilled Design-Build Commercial Manager to oversee and enhance the commercial, administrative, and contractual aspects of significant construction ventures.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

•    Serve as the primary legal authority for managing the contract with the design joint venture.
•    Assist in contract administration, including analysis of claims, change orders, and invoice verification.
•    Collaborate with the technical team to manage engineering support during construction and liaise with clients effectively.
•    Foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
•    Provide strategic insights and support to the executive team regarding commercial matters and broader business issues.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

•    Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in contractual administration within the construction industry.
•    Proven experience working with designers and major subcontractors on large-scale projects.
•    Strong knowledge of technical and design-build methodologies.
•    Commercial awareness and ability to navigate broader business challenges.
•    Fluent in English, with a valid driver’s license.
•    Preferred: A legal degree or additional experience in large-scale infrastructure development projects.
•    Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
