Our client, a dynamic leader in renewable energy solutions, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale solar, high-voltage substation, and energy storage projects across North America. • Overseeing project administration to support the Project Manager and project objectives
• Managing cost control ledgers and job cost statements
• Preparing and processing billing and payment requests
• Estimating, drafting, and negotiating Change Orders, as well as writing subcontract Change Orders
• Setting up and maintaining the project management system (CMiC) for all project documentation
• Creating bid packages and reviewing bids for alignment with project requirements
• Drafting and implementing project procedures
• Reviewing project plans for completeness and ensuring compliance with specifications
• Preparing Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements for project needs
• Supervising and mentoring Project Engineers and administrative staff
• Completing additional tasks as assigned by project management
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and field operations
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 1 year in scheduling and estimating
• Experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent in the field
• Experience with CMiC or similar project management software is preferred
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
