Main responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. 

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to facilitate annual audits and tax filings.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting and finance.

Requirements: 

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
-Renewable energy experience is preferred. 

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
